BEES, any and all varieties. Seriously, if I so much as HEAR something buzz by my head (and sometimes it turns out to be a fly-by fly) I scream and run.

Before my husband was allowed to do ANYTHING this summer I demanded that he treat the Carpenter Bee holes in the overhang of our house because I was scared to death that one of them would buzz by my head while transporting the twins from the house to the car or vice versa, and that I would inadvertently hurt one of my babies in my irrational state of panic.

Yellow jackets are some of the nastier varieties around here. Then you have wasps...

Ugh. I hate anything with a needle-tip that could pierce my skin and sting. That includes needles, but I don't see that as being an unfounded fear. I know that if a doctor is holding a needle and coming my way -- it's going to freaking hurt. Yeah, only a couple of seconds, but it still hurts. :P
